There are a host of other nutrients and
supplements that have shown much promise
in research and clinical trials. For example
...
Glutathione is an important
antioxidant for brain and nerve cells. Studies
have shown that glutathione has improved
patients suffering from Parkinson's disease.
Coenzyme10 (a.k.a. CoQ10)
is also an important antioxidant for the
production of energy within the cell. CoQ10
may be able to prevent Alzheimer's dementia
and Parkinson's disease.
Lutein and zeaxanthine
(both carotenoids) found in carrots, leafy
green vegetables, and collard greens, helps
to minimize oxidative stress in our eyes.
And as a result, may help to minimize or
prevent cataracts and macular degeneration.
S.O.D. or superoxide
dismutase, is also another antioxidant.
In a recent report in the Journal Nature
Genetics, and also in a USA Today article,
S.O.D. may help to combat oxidative stress
in the cells, thus inhibit the aging process.
I am currently compiling info on these
and many other important nutrients.
