It’s important to have a good meal
for breakfast, and this is bound to keep
you going through to lunchtime.
½ Tbsp Sunflower seeds (unroasted)
250g less 2 Tbsp unsweetened Orange juice
Mix the raisins, bran, oatmeal and both
types of seeds in a large bowl, then stir
in the orange juice.
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees C /gas
Lightly grease a large roasting pan. Stir
the mixture thoroughly, then turn it into
the pan-do not press it down. Bake for about
2 hours, turning and stirring occasionally,
until well browned, crisp and dry.
Allow to cool in the pan, then break the
mixture up into small lumps and store them
in an airtight container.
Serve with milk.
